Mr. Barberio is Vice President of Finance at Paradigm Management Services, a large-scale national leader in managed care based in the San Francisco area where he focuses on organic and acquisition growth initiatives as well as operations in accounting, finance and claims processing. Prior to that he was Founder & Managing Partner of EBMI Management Consultants, a south Florida based boutique consulting and professional services firm that focused on Fortune 1000 clients providing business process improvement services, financial operations, and technology both domestically and globally. Mr. Barberio, earlier in his career, also held executive level positions in the banking industry with Ocwen and another managed care company (Broadspire). He is currently on the board, or an advisor of several startup companies through the University of Oxford Angel Fund, Oxford Entrepreneurs of the East Bay and through personal investments with entities in the U.S., Europe, Asia and Africa. He is also a member of the finance committee for Kids Chance of America, a national not-for-profit focused on scholarships for the children of catastrophically injured workers.
He holds a Graduate diploma (DipGB) from the University of Oxford in Global Business and Finance; an M.B.A from Palm Beach Atlantic University; a B.B.A. in Finance and Economics from Florida International University and is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
Mr. Longhi is a Senior Portfolio Management Associate at PNC Financial Services Group. As a member of the bank’s ALM-Portfolio Management Group, which oversees the Bank’s proprietary $80 billion book, he is primarily responsible for conducting market research, financial analysis, credit and risk analysis, and for developing new data analytics and financial models with a focus on the portfolio’s $6 billion Corporate and Muni book.
Prior to joining PNC, Mr. Longhi played key roles within other large organizations as Director of Capital Formation, Sr. Commodity Trader, and Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst where he, respectively, lead a $140 million capital raise campaign though private debt and equity investments and assisted with recapitalization efforts, drove deal growth and increased trading activities between South America and Asia, and conducted financial and non-financial due diligence on target companies, while carrying out quantitative and qualitative analysis to support the integration of two multi-billion dollar acquisitions which captured $100MM in synergies. Mr. Longhi is also a VC investor focusing predominantly in early-stage tech startups in the Bay area and is an equity partner at CHT.
Mr. Longhi holds a degree in Economics from The Ohio State University and certifications / specializations in advanced accounting and credit analysis, financial analysis and modeling, and valuation.
